Dear AMS Community,

First off, I wanted to apologize for the Washington, D.C. Trip confusion.  The content which was sent out this weekend never explained the trip was only open to current 7th and 8th grade families.  The promotion was a “last call” email to these families and I failed to be clear about the targeted population, sorry again.  However, I was extremely excited to see the interest from our 6th grade families…if anything it helped create the buzz for next fall. 

Let me explain, our Washington, D.C. Trip takes place every two years.  Our trip this summer was initially promoted two years ago to the then 6th and 7th Graders.    This means our next trip (Summer of 2026) will be for our current 6th graders and the current 5th graders.  Since the 5th graders are not in our building yet we will hold off until next fall to unveil the trip.  Promoting, and securing a spot, two years in advance allows smaller payments over the two-year time span and our initial price of the trip is at the cheapest level.  In closing, I am sorry, once again, for the confusion and I look forward to continuing to bring our AMS community to Washington, D.C., our Nation’s Capital.
